Ribbon cutting ceremonies provide new or expanding businesses an opportunity to promote their products or services. These events are organized free of charge for members and are held Monday through Friday between the hours of 9am-4pm. The Chamber member requests the date and the Chamber staff assists by organizing the promotions and providing the ribbon and scissors. The Chamber invites members of the Ambassador committee to share in the event. Special invitations are also extended to the City of Kearney Board of Aldermen.

Ribbon cutting photos/videos are shared on social media, included in the Chamber Chat, and posted to the Chamber website. The Kearney Chamber of Commerce holds ribbon cuttings for members to celebrate joining the Chamber, anniversaries, grand openings, expansions or remodels.
